DNA Shock
Have you ever wondered whether you really are fully aware of your own heritage? Aren’t you curious to know where your bloodline came from? Well, you are not alone. A lot of people have tried to trace their own ancestral roots.
A particular DNA test has been held with a group of diverse people and it was called The DNA Journey. They came from different nations, different personalities, age, gender and beliefs. But, they have a common thing among them. They all believe that they know their own roots. One guy even mentioned if there’s anything they could tell him that he doesn’t know. They stated their bloodline origin as they know and they even gave their own stories of their past. The conductors of the test informed them that their DNA are 50% from their father and another from the mother, they also asked a question if there’s a specific nationality that they couldn’t get along with very well , many of them answered particular groups of people. After the interviewing part, they were called back again for the result, and to the participants’ surprise, it is not what they expected.
One by one they were called and get the shock of their life as they read the result. Most of them are not aware that they came from different origins and in complete awe as they found out the truth. The guy who said that he couldn’t get along very well with Germans was humored when he found out that he is part German. A Cuban man also couldn’t that he has a blood of eastern European. Everyone was amazed with the results they had. But the most shocking event in the test was when a participant was informed that she has Turkish blood and that she has a cousin who is also in the room, among the group of participants. She was in tears as she took a guess which one he is until the conductors called him. The two embraced as a celebration.
This test proved that even though you think you know everything about your heritage, you can still be surprised by the result you will get if you will have your DNA tested. This serves as a proof that there’s more value to DNA testing. Not only that you could know the roots of your ancestors, but you may also find some relatives you never knew even existed!
